South Africa for Families: Nature, Wildlife & Culture

Discover South Africa on a family-friendly adventure combining wildlife photography, Kruger safaris, Cape Town, spectacular landscapes, boat trips and local culture in an unforgettable 12-day journey.

A Photo Logistics journey: nature, photography and seamless logistics.

South Africa is one of those places that changes the way you see the world. A country where the light is clearer, wildlife feels closer, and every day offers an opportunity to capture images that tell a story.

This journey has been designed to combine wildlife photography, landscapes and culture, with all the logistics taken care of and professional guidance throughout the trip.

Over 12 days, we will explore Cape Town, Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route and a private reserve in the Greater Kruger area, staying at carefully selected camps that offer excellent access to wildlife and comfortable conditions for photography.

What to expect

Iconic Kruger National Park Wildlife

Enjoy two full days of 4×4 safaris inside Kruger National Park, with opportunities to photograph lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, hyenas, birds of prey and Africa’s iconic large mammals.

The Panorama Route

Discover one of South Africa’s most spectacular scenic routes, with breathtaking viewpoints, canyons, waterfalls and forests offering sweeping landscapes and remarkable photographic opportunities.

Boat Excursions

Two very different experiences await:

  • Marine wildlife in Cape Town: a boat trip to observe cetaceans in one of the world’s outstanding locations for marine wildlife watching.
  • The Olifants River: a quiet boat excursion offering unique opportunities to photograph wildlife from the water and capture different perspectives.
Local Culture and Communities

Enjoy a guided visit to a local community, offering a meaningful cultural and photographic experience that brings greater context and authenticity to the journey.

Accommodation Suitable for Families
  • Tatenda: accommodation close to Kruger National Park.
  • Antares Bush Camp: an exclusive camp for our group, with direct access to photographic hides and wildlife areas.

The accommodation arrangements are designed with families in mind and therefore consist of shared rooms. Single occupancy is not available on this trip.

Professional Guidance

The trip will be led by Roger Sanmartí, wildlife photographer and Photo Logistics guide, who will help you make the most of every photographic opportunity.
