Experience an exclusive wildlife photography hide near Madrid. Photograph a wide variety of birds —with chances of Spanish Imperial Eagle, Black and Egyptian Vultures, Red Kite and more. The fixed hide features high-quality spy glass and full logistics, letting you focus entirely on your photography. Available all year round for unforgettable encounters with Spain’s emblematic raptors.
The Spanish Imperial Eagle —the only endemic bird of prey on the Iberian Peninsula— occasionally visits this area, adding special excitement to any session. With Photo Logistics, you can enjoy a unique opportunity to photograph a wide range of wildlife from a hide located less than an hour from Madrid.
Thanks to a carefully managed supplementary feeding system and a small pond that attracts both birds and mammals, the hide offers constant activity and diversity. You may photograph species such as Egyptian Mongoose, Red Kite, Common Buzzard, Azure-winged Magpie, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Red Fox, and various woodland passerines. Interactions between different raptors —and sometimes between birds of prey and foxes— are common, ensuring lively and unpredictable photography sessions.
Working with Spanish Imperial Eagles involves certain limitations and precautions to bear in mind, so specific instructions will be gaven in the booking confirmation email. Of course, maintaining complete silence is also essential. The supplementary feeding system limits the number of monthly sessions, so we recommend booking several weeks in advance.
The session takes from sunrise until sunset, so the hide is spacious and equipped with a toilet. It has room for three people. As you know, Photo Logistics always offers hides exclusively to the individual or group that has booked for that day; we do not mix different groups. The hide uses a high-quality one-way glass, allowing you to take photos of birds flying around the feeding spot before they land.
The hide is located in the municipality of Navalagamella, and the meeting point will be provided upon reservation. Our guide will drive you from the agreed meeting place to the hide. You must remain in the hide until our guide returns to pick you up.
