Drinking pool hides Claret

When it’s warm, lots of birds come to this drinking pool!

pl_hide_sylvia_undatta_11

With the arrival of spring and the gradual increase in temperature many birds need to visit water to drink and bathe.. The turtle dove visits us in spring and summer and is a regular bird to our pool. This is a species in decline throughout Europe due to various factors such as the intensification of agriculture.

Other species that can be photographed from this hide include Dartford, Subalpine and  Sardinian Warblers , Corn and Bunting, Cirl Bunting, Nightingale, Jay, etc. A very fun way to spend a morning or afternoon of bird photography.
